Our prestressed concrete fence posts are driveable with a standard post driver. Percussion drivers, pneumatic drivers and standard thumper are all able to be used to drive the concrete fence post.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE DRIVING CAP FOR YOUR JOB

1. Is your post driver a drop hammer, thumper style? Then this is the driving cap suitable for your job. ACP Driving caps. DC01 and DC02
2. Is your post driver a percussion style, pneumatic, vibrating style driver? Then you’ll need a manufactured driving head for your specific machine. Click this link to take you to where you find the information you need for percussion driver caps.

ACP Driving Caps for Drop Hammer Drivers

Australian Concrete Posts recommend that a thick rubber material be used to cushion the direct impact on top of the post when driving them in. Australian Concrete Posts have developed a driving cap for a drop hammer style driver that can be placed on top of the post. The ACP Driving Cap holds a layer of 20mm rubber in place. The layer of rubber padding inside minimises impact on post.
