CONCRETE FENCE POSTS

These are the standard fence posts - often called intermediates or running posts. Available in 130mm wide or 110mm wide in various lengths. All holes are predrilled, they're driveable with a post driver, using a driving cap.

WHICH FENCE POSTS

1. Choose WHICH post is suitable for your application. The distance between each fence post on your fence line will determine the quantity you need to order. ACP Posts are sold in pack volumes of 15 or 30 per pack. When calculating how many posts you need you will need to work out how many packs you need.

CONCRETE STRAINER POSTS

The Strainer Post is also known as the end post, straining post or gate post. These are the posts that take the strain of you wire. They're made 170mm wide with 4 Strands of high tensile wire strands inside. ACP supply these in pack volumes of 6 per pack. If you need less than 6 then please indicate in the details below.

STRAINING ASSEMBLIES

To strain the wire and ends of each run, a fence needs a straining assembly. There are several ways to build a straining assembly using concrete posts. The H-Brace or Box End assembly is most common, cheapest and strongest method. the alternative is using a diagonal brace and footplate. Examples of the End Assemblies are shown below.

Do you need brackets for another sort of fence design? Our brackets are versatile and can be used to create various types of fences. Let us know here if you need your concrete posts for other reasons other than a fence, for example a trellis or to support netting. We make brackets to suit many applications. How are you planning to put them in the ground? ACP fence posts are driveable with a post driver. If you're using a post driver you will need a driving cap.

DO YOU NEED A DRIVING CAP? Driving caps are used to minimise the direct impact from the hammer or driver when thumping them into the ground. A driving cap holds a thick piece of rubber inside an will help to minimise that impact and avoid chips on the top of the posts.
